Xena, Warrior Princess is having an amazing life. She started in a Mitsubishi factory and came out a Montero with a V6 engine, and automatic transmission that runs on Gasoline. She was equipped with 4 wheel drive so she could tackle anything ahead of her. Her first country was the USA (she still has her plates of residency there) where an Israeli man bought her and outfitted her to live out of so he could head south. We found her two owners later in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru which is where my partner Charly and I found her. We bought her in February and she has been taking us southward getting us to climbing spots deep into the Andes along the way ever since. Sadly though, our time with Xena is coming to an end on August 30th as we are leaving South America.
She comes fully equipped to live out of (bed, pillows, linens, kitchen supplies for two minus the camping stove, storage tubs, a 21L water jug, cooler, chairs, shelves, curtains, a second deep cell battery, and more). She also includes a variety of tools and extra parts. She has had some electrical problems during her life from the high mountain passes she has conquered but nothing big and she has all her medical records to prove this. The biggest problem we have had with her is that policemen and locals alike keep offering to buy her from us. In her adventurous life, she is approaching 160,000 miles and she still has many miles left for her next adventure buddy! Are you the one?
If you think Xena is the right fit for your future adventures, we would love to hear from you to send you photos and answer any questions. Our current plan is to be around Santiago at the end of August after climbing some desert volcanos up north so that would be the best area to be united with her new owners. We are asking for a price of USD$4700 but are flexible. As sad as we are to say goodbye, we know great things are still in her (and your) future.
